In case of malfunction of external circulation oil supply system (the bearing must be stopped immediately), the oil ring can serve as auxiliary oil supply lubrication to prevent wear and malfunction of bearings. Where separate self-lubricating oil ring is adopted, the maximum circumferential linear velocity of moving axle is 20 m/s.
