Tapered roller bearing common fault

Update:2019-01-05

Tapered roller bearings use auditory to identify irregular movements. A common method is to use an electronic stethoscope to detect abnormal noise in a part that is experienced by an operator. If the bearing is in good working condition, it will make a low humming sound. If it is a sharp squeaky tapered roller bearing, arpeggio and other irregular sounds, it usually indicates that the thrust pad bearing is in poor working condition.
1. Corrugated surface corrosion: Spectral analysis found that the concentration of non-ferrous metal elements was abnormal; many sub-micron-scale wear particles of non-ferrous metal components appeared in the iron spectrum; the lubricating oil exceeded the standard and the acid value exceeded the standard.
2, the surface of the journal is strained: there are iron-based abrasive grains or black oxide particles in the iron spectrum, and there is tempering color on the metal surface.
3, the surface corrosion of the journal: Spectral analysis found that the concentration of iron is abnormal, there are many sub-micron particles of iron in the iron spectrum, and the moisture of the lubricating oil exceeds the standard or the acid value exceeds the standard....
