Common faults of rolling bearings


   The rolling bearing fault phenomenon generally displays two kinds, one is the bearing installation place temperature is too high, two is the bearing movement has the noise.
   1. bearing temperature is too high
   When the mechanism is running, the position of the bearing is allowed to have a certain temperature. When the shell is touched by hand, it should be normal without feeling hot, and on the contrary, it indicates that the bearing temperature is too high.
   The reason of high temperature of bearing lubricating oil quality does not meet the requirements or deterioration, the oil viscosity is too high; tight assembly (insufficient clearance); preloaded bearing; bearing ring rotate on the shaft or shell; overload; rolling bearing retainer or fragmentation.
   2. bearing noise
   Rolling bearings allow slight noise during operation. If excessive noise or abnormal noise or impact occurs, the bearing is faulty.
   The causes of noise in rolling bearings are complicated. One is the abrasion of the inner and outer rings of the bearing. Because of this kind of wear, the relation between the bearing and the shell, the bearing and the shaft is destroyed, which leads to the deviation of the axis from the correct position and the abnormal sound produced by the shaft moving at high speed. When the bearing is tired, the surface of the metal is peeled off, and the radial clearance of the bearing is enlarged to produce abnormal sound. In addition, the bearing lubrication is insufficient, forming dry friction, and bearing crushing and so on, can produce the unusual sound. When the bearing is worn loose, the cage is loose and damaged, and abnormal sound can also occur.
